How to lower your cholesterol

This is a summary of recommendations selected from books about cholesterol.

What to do or eat
  1. Reduce the weight. eat as per your hunger and need only.
  2. increase exercise, walk, yoga be regular
  3. Fruits are best they have antioxidants
  4. onions and garlic helps too
  5. chili in moderation helps
  6. Go vegan if possible, at-least cut on red meat switch to fish.
  7. Zero stress, stress is killer
  8. use skimmed milk over whole milk
  9. tofu soya mushroom products can be used for protein
  10. Green tea is good as well
  11. Nuts like walnuts, almonds should be used as snack
  12. use Canola oil if you need to use oil
  13. cereals are good
what not to eat or do
  1. cut TV watching, smoking and drink in moderation if you cannot stop it. 
  2. eat less fat only no saturated fat i.e. fat solid at room temperature.
